Hey lovebugs! I know I sent this out late. If you're still up, make sure that you do your prayer and your nightly reflection piece! I know that it is short notice, but I really want us to utilize this and see how we can grow. If you miss a day, don't beat yourself up. Forgive yourself and get right back in the game! I created this forum so that we could discuss anything that we think about. What did God teach or show me today?
I am not in total control of everything I have my hand invovled in. At the beginning and end of everyday no matter my achievements, awards, career successes, God is in complete control of my life and his will bad timing is perfect.
Even when I desire and push actions for an desired outcome only not to receive I am reminded of what the scripture says in Ephesians 1 "In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will"

Hey guys,
Just wanted to share what I thought was powerful about today's reading. Paul prays at the end of chapter 1 and he asks for some things: 1. The spirit of revelation and wisdom in the knowledge of Him 2.Enlightenment (so that we may know His purpose for us) 3. The riches of His inheritance 4. Exceeding greatness of His power. This stood out to me because it reminded me how we get so caught up asking for THINGS (money for the rent, a new job, etc.) that we don't focus on his attributes. We focus on what we can get from Him tangibly, instead of what we can get spiritually. I'm guilty lol. I can't even tell you the last time (if there even has been) a time when I asked for wisdom or enlightenment. Just wanted to encourage ya'll to think about that in your prayer requests and if you don't do it for yourself, pray for those things for me!! Let's be INTENTIONAL!! Love ya'll!

#Salute @quia for your obedience. I'm sure this will be beneficial on so many levels … I'm already being stretched and I appreciate you sharing this vision/journey.
The verses in Ephesians 1 that really stood out to me were 17-19. Much like Paul, I pray that from this particular journey the Lord gives us a true revelation and understanding of who He is and His power. I too pray for enlightenment and discovery of purpose/calling for each individual participating on any level. I pray & believe that we (individually and collectively) will get out of this experience specific and tailored understandings that will reach us where we are and bring about His glory in our lives.
We can relate to God for what He does, but I pray that through this we can really begin to know God for who He is!
