Well, there was a lot to take in from this scripture ... But the last verse stuck out to me the most:
40 And do everything in a decent and orderly manner.
I think it's important to remember that all things should be done in decency and order and that doing do is a reflection of love for God and love towards our fellow man.
We don't really know where people are in their walk with God so we should always operate in decency and order so as not to complicate that walk or cause them to stray from the path they are on. This isn't just focused on the church service or church activities so visitors or new members can follow what's going on, but this applies to our conversations and our actions outside if the church. We represent Christ everywhere we go, that's a larger responsibility. In doing so we need to be thoughtful in what we do and say as to not send mixed messages or cause confusion/disorder. And we MUST be mindful of our words, especially in an argument - it's hard but we have to control our toungs and actions when we disagree with someone - that's showing them the love of God and showing God we love him and will follow his word even when it's difficult or we are upset or we are pressed for time
