Good morning,
This verse stood out to me:
21 "You must not wrong a foreigner nor oppress him, for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt.
I think we often need a reminder that "we were once foreigners" in the sense of more than just respecting people who are different from us (in the country, at work/school, etc) but also in the sense of staying humble because even as we journey to be closer to God, even though we've accepted Christ as our Lord and savior - we haven't always been on this path, we each we slaves to our own Pharaohs and have journeyed from there, but by the grace of God, out of bondage. I think it's important that as we grow older and grow on Christ we don't forget we are still sinners and have "foreigner roots". None of us can lay claim or ownership to freedom except by the grace of God and its our job to spread the good news and let others know the door to acceptance in Christ is always open, no citizenship test required, just full acceptance of God into our hearts and an ACTIVE willingness to follow His Will and His Word
Love y'all
