These are the verses that stood out to me :
57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! 58 So then, dear brothers and sisters, be firm. Do not be moved! Always be outstanding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
I think we often need a reminder that our labor/work for The Lord is not in vain. When we don't see immediate change or feeling immediate satisfaction it can be hard to keep pressing but we have to remember that if we are following His word and acting in love that we are pleasing God and goodness will flow from that. We may not reap the fruits if our labor but we can be like Paul and plant the seed or be like Apllos and water the seed - either way, God will provide the growth, whatever that growth maybe. We just need faith and to remember its a process and good things come to those who work and wait and remain faithful and steadfast in The Lord our savior.
We all are victorious and blessed and highly favored and we serve an awesome God who loved us enough to sacrifice his only son and the raise him from the dead with all power in him hand - my my my, ain't God good?!?! What love !!?? It's mins blowing if you really think about it - agape

BE OUTstanding!! Be set apart and know that even though you may be one of the only people at school, at work, at church who may be doing, saying, serving … that everything you do to bring glory to God, He sees it and He will reward! Anything coming from God has to be GOOOOOOOD! because He gives us blessings everyday that we don't even deserve … so the ones that we might consider off merit (even though we could never earn from the Lord - He is just so gracious) … when He is pleased with us … these blessings have to be on a whole'nother level!!! WOW

Man this chapter was so FULL to me. It spoke of so many things! A good point is in the beginning verses where Paul is encouraging and reminding us not to lose what we've learned. How fitting! It wasn't by accident that we have had this experience and as such WR must be mindful to keep it "hold firmly" he says. Also v.25-28 is powerful because it reminds us that there is NO situation thing person possession life that is not under gods immediate control. That is a key point to remember when we start feeling sorry for ourselves. This life is not our own so lets do the necessary things to glorify God in our natural body so that we may live eternally with Him.
