First i just want to thank God for this day that the Lord had made!!!
OK,what had spoken to me the most was:
(4:2) Jesus did not eat anything for 40 days and 40 nights.At the end of time, he was hungry.
(4:3)The tempter came to him and said, if you are not Son of God, tell these stones to became loaves of bread.
(4:4) Jesus answers, Scriptures says,A person cannot live on Bread alone but on every word that God speaks.
(4:5)Then the devil took him into the holy city and had him stand on the highest part of the temple.
(4:6)He said to Jesus, if you are the Son of God,jump!Scripture says, He will put his angels in charge of you.They will carry you in their hands so that you never hit your foot against a rock.
(4:7)Jesus said to him, Again, Scriptures says, Never tempt the lord your God.
(4:8)Once more the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms in the world and their glory.
(4:9)The devil said to him, I will give you all this if you will bow down and worship me.
(4:10)Jesus said to him, Go away,Satan! Scripture says, Worship the Lord your God and serve only him.
(4:11)Then the devil left him, and angel's came to take care of him
Wow!!! I don't know about you guys?? But Jesus fasted for 40 days, 40 nights in the desert...That's amazing to me because I can't imagine myself going an week without eating!!! But this speaks volumes to me because Jesus was at his weakest points, and Satan seen that and tempted Jesus in so many ways!!! But Jesus did not give in!
Jesus motivates me to strive every day to be strong,and obey,and to have obedience when God speaks to me,and no matter what the devil may throw at you,You have the power to tell the Satin to go away!!! Just don't give up,God will come through for you.Have faith in him,he'll come through.Amen!!!
