Timing is linked to obedience. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says "to everything there is a season a time for every purpose under heaven." Our obedience and our willingness to trust God and his timing is what allows things to work out for us.

Hey hey! ...your salvation is much more important than ANYTHING else you could ever hope to have. But its also a reminder that your salvation comes with a price and a responsibility. The price was paid on calvary now the responsibility is to be DILIGENT AND REMAIN STEADFAST, despite who is against you.

We make excuses on the basis of our circumstances to act out. We revert to the way that the natural man would react and in turn only succeed in further separating ourselves from God.
I don't know about ya'll, but when I'm in a bind I want some DIVINE INTERVENTION! I want to know that God will hear my cry and that he will come to my rescue. Like I said, once you KNOW better, you DO better. It doesn't just stop with you either. You are tasked with trying to bring others out of the trenches. We know the wages of sin is death, but let's not be content with saving ourselves. Salvation is a message for EVERYONE and doing better means bringing other people along. I know sometimes it's easy to be delivered from a dry/negative place and not want to go back. You justify not returning because "those people won't get it...they won't listen...they'll think that I think I'm better than them or holier than thou..." but the truth of the matter is someone decided to extend grace and compassion to you to get you out of that situation, so you must do the same. It's time out for the crab in the barrel mentality. It's time for lifting up and helping other live the life God intended for all of us to live!

It says that whenever Moses raised his hands the Israelites were winning. The important thing about this action is the fact that in order to lift your hands and surrender, you gotta let go of what is weighing you down. We see that Moses couldn't even lift the weight of his own hands, so imagine trying to do so and carry around extra baggage. IT WON'T WORK! So, before we can win we gotta stop worrying and start releasing the weight!

I'm not talking homicide but when you call that person instead of God during that tough time they may not say what God intended and we can't let that block our spiritual growth. Our faith is not in possessions or family or livelihood but in God. Because our faith is in Him nothing in the world can satisfy our longing. "Father keep us from being so blinded by the possessions that we cannot keep that we fail to see the eternal treasure we cannot lose." (Max Lucado) Let our hearts not be troubled when we lose the things that we already know will fade. Don't lose faith but continue to see God, seek Him and His righteousness.
